Find Out If You Qualify

Our services are free if you qualify.

If you qualify for legal assistance, our services are free. To qualify, you must meet three requirements:

  • Financial: Your income and assets must meet our limits.
  • Location: Your legal issues must be in New Hampshire.
  • Legal problem: Your legal issue must be one we handle.

We also have special rules for Veterans and some domestic violence cases. If either one applies to you, call us or apply online to get started.

Income and Assets

We help people with low incomes. The Legal Services Corporation funds us. Because of this, we follow federal rules about income.

We count the income of everyone living in your household. This includes wages, self-employment income, Social Security, disability, unemployment, child support, and rental income.

We also look at some of your assets (things you own) and expenses when we calculate your income.

Not sure if your income qualifies? Not sure who counts as part of your household? Call us. We can check your income and let you know if we can help.
